We ask that all players be ready by 7:30pm for a brief off-ice discussion with the coaches. Review the practice outline videos before heading out on the ice.

Skating Skill Development
Get comfortable with practising different skills you'd typically use during a regular hockey shift, like sharp and smooth changes in direction, tight and wide turns, pivoting, and skating forward.
Olympic Breakout Pass Drill
A passing drill for the team that'll amp up those one and two-touch passes, teamwork, and communication, all while nailing a shot in the slot.
When skating, make sure to keep those legs moving non-stop during the whole drill, especially during those crossovers in the pivot. Speed is the key here!
Out of the Corner Drill
Practice gathering the puck along the boards, protect it from your opponent, and advance towards the net.
Wall Play Progression Drill 1 and Drill 2
Improve your ability to pick up the puck along the boards. Drill 1 will focus on the basic skill of retrieving the puck from the boards. Drill 2 will build upon the skill and add a 2 on 1 play.
2 v 0 Continuous Backcheck
Practice quick attack rushes that are under pressure from backcheckers.
